BELINDA GLENNON
Hand Crafted Ceramics

Welcome to my website! Here is a little bit about my ceramics…

Drawing inspiration from the majestic, rugged coastline around the Isle of Harris, I use white stoneware and porcelain to make decorative and functional ceramics reflecting my love of the colours and textures of the Island’s coastline.

I have formulated a palette of glazes with contrasting textures. The volcanic areas are ground down to reveal the bubbling, dry texture beneath, these eroded areas contrast with the watery, fluid glazes as the sea foaming on the rocks. I’m based in the Scottish Borders.

A Seapod to add to our other lovely pieces by Belinda. A beautiful piece, evoking the sea shore with rock pools to explore, so rich in layers of colour and texture. It captures the strength and fragility of the sea shore. We love it.

I have purchased several items from Belinda Glennon Ceramics. They are all exquisite, with reminders of the sea and coastline. I absolutely love her work, I have also bought items for family members who are equally delighted. My final comment is about the service I receive , nothing is too much trouble, so posting to me in the South of the UK is no problem.

I would rate Belinda Glennon Ceramics a well deserved 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Belinda kindly made for me 8 small Sea bowls at the busiest time of year – Christmas. I love them! They are beautiful and practical. They give me pleasure each time: each one unique, the perfect size, with the colours of the sea transporting me on holiday from my kitchen table.
